Restless

Restlessness is my only companionship for what seems like prolonging forever now. From feathery lightness of the mind, which might almost be taken for its absence, to dull heaviness of the soul and the body... And so I've been oscillating between these two states nowadays, no neutrality, no break, no rest. What am I waiting for, ni idea. All I know is that I just have to bear myself a little longer and remain trustful. I do.

On the Chinese New Year's Eve I woke up at one of the Taipei's hotels and after munching on a huge custom made croissant club sandwich I rushed to the city to have an unusually extended walk, absorb the ambience and spy on the locals, the latter being something I just do involuntarily, everywhere. After three hours of wandering the streets I had my hair combed, or shall I say entangled, by the strong wind and I've monitored too many people, both locals and foreigners. If I were to choose three words to describe Taipei it would be: stability, wind and noodles. Above all the noodles.

Plain white tee used to be a default choice since what seems like forever now. No complications, simple and easy to style. Totally contradictory to what is going on in my head recently. Apparently I'd have to wait till the summer solstice to get back in the game. Let's see...
